This program of eight course modules on reading was developed by the Center for Research on Learning at the University of Kansas, a leading research and development organization dedicated to helping teachers assist individuals with special needs. Content is designed to provide teachers with information to help them retain their certification and meet on-going continuing education requirements.
This online 10-course program was developed through our partnership with Sopris West Educational Services. It is the first certification program based on National Council for Exceptional Children’s (CEC) standards. This program provides special education teachers with an online mechanism to achieve certification.
